15 Contraindications Of Hyperbaric

Before considering hyperbaric it is important to first consult with your primary care or treating physician first.  As you will need to go through a physical and medical history before being prescribed to use a HBOT chamber.  Prescription are required by your physician to purchase or recieve treatment with a hyperbaric chamber.  It is not a secret that people are out there treating patients, selling chambers, making false claims with no medical training or physician’s degree or license.  I would be very weary of these people they are commiting medical fraud and putting people’s lives in danger.  Maybe I should add that to the list of contraindications, sneaky under qualified sales people and business seeing patients without any formal training or education.  You can see the risk of doing business with both.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy may seem like the safe, fix all medical device.  Hyperbaric chambers need to be respected.  They are are pressurized chamber made of acrylic, steel or both and vinyl.  As the pressure is builds up and if not operated correctly it could cause harm, severe body damage or even death.  So it is vitally important that you know what you are doing before considering HBOT.  Wither buying a chamber or going in for care, you should know all contraindications, dangers and get safety training.
